Retirement splurge!

I had been knocking the idea of getting a new display for the basement for a while and it finally seemed as good of an idea now as any, so the wife suggested I call it my retirement gift. So I gave in to peer pressure and it resulted in a 77" LG C4 OLED. Thought it would be a good idea now to get ahead of the tariffs and before I realize I'm not actually getting a paycheck any longer.

I haven't even set it up yet but I will get around to it soon. I'll probably even take a few pictures...

That's right! I distinctly remember you saying how much you could immediately recognize which sets were OLED whenever you walked through (best buy) so that got me paying attention to them. Now everything else pales in comparison.

Every morning when I turn on the news I can't help but smile at my 55" OLED. My vision is such that I can't see the 4K resolution difference, in fact I dropped EweTube TV's "4K" and saved myself $5/mo, but that brightness dynamic range just pops!
