Heeman - WI Basement HT Build

Still isn't exactly clear what that is, but I'll guess its a diffuser of some sort?

The intent was to build something symmetrical to add some diffusion to the rear wall of the theater. Since the distance from the rear wall to the seat is about 7-8', I added some absorption to eliminate any direct reflection back to listeners ears.

I wish that I could say "WOW" it sounds so much better, but that is not the case. I am sure that it is added some benefit though.

So Rammisframmis, did you send him the snake oil to help improve the sound effects. Looks great also.

@heeman  I had the chance to give this a detailed look see...awesome, awesome, awesome!! I am sure you are enjoying the fruits of your labor. Nice job!

Gimme a can of black spray paint, I'll have it done for 'ya in 10 minutes.

We have been focusing on backyard landscaping most of the Spring and Summer.

Also, I am trying to find a period of time where these can be worked on. That means, no woofers in the HT during that time. But, if I dedicate a full 2 days to them, that should be all it takes.

It is the prep work that is holding this up.

I never updated this thread with the completed pictures..................
