I first learned about The Reason I Jump from Jon Stewart's show. I'd not heard him speak so highly of a book before. So I ordered a copy. (And given how it shot up to number 1 on Amazon the day after his show, I was not the only one to do so!)

It is an amazing read.

It is easily one of the most revelatory books I have ever read.

It provides a look / insight into autism that was heretofore impossible to see: autism described through a series of direct and pointed Q&A's by an autistic 13 year old Japanese boy.

I imagine that many parents (and caregivers and educators...) of autistic children have by now already read this book. If you are, and have not, I suggest that you do yourself, your child, and the rest of your family a favour and do so.

And even if you have no connection at all to autism, I think you will enjoy this book immensely.
