RIP, "Keyboard" magazine

And another dinosaur I grew up with goes by the wayside. I started buying this when I was a 2nd Lieutenant, and could afford a keyboard to play in a band. Would just about have the issue memorized in a couple days, drooled over the new equipment reviews, learned of a lot of new bands/artists, and even programmed the provided patches and tried to play through the sheet music lessons (a struggle, as I don't read on any instrument except trombone).
Even though I gave up playing live about 7, 8 years ago, I still subscribed to keep up on artists and toys; she's gone now.
:crying:

The magazine business has been going to shit for years, and even the magazines which have somehow survived have been dumbed down considerably. Sound & Vision doesn't even have "articles" of any depth anymore (not that that magazine was ever a pillar of journalistic excellence). The internet has had great benefits, but it has killed some things we took for granted too. Things move on, I guess.....
