After years of playing Spotify on my Marantz SR6009 by running a cumbersome 20ft line out cable from my phone & laptop into an Aux jack, I recently (accidentally) discovered Spotify Connect. It's awesome and life changing -- a seriously great function!
Anyway, my question is about streaming resolution. I set Spotify to stream and download at Max Quality on all my devices (and check them occasionaly to make sure they stay that way after updtaes & whatever). But when using Spotify Connect such settings are grayed out because the devices act as mere remote controls, while the AVR itself does the streaming. So obviously my question is: how can I make sure I'm getting max resolution when using Spotify Connect? I don't see anything about this in the Marantz menus. Nor do I see anything on my Spotify account page online. Can anyone help?
