Official Sim Racing Thread

Odd, I tried enlarging that video and a Facebook button is right on top, can't hit it without going to FB.
Nice HDR!

What's odd to me is that you see a FB button in the upper right and on top of the enlargement button. I see those links in upper left and the enlargement in lower right, using Firefox and Edge. I think Safari may be messing you with.

Also, not sure what you mean about HDR. I don't have HDR enabled in Windows nor any app.

Yeah, I'm on Safari/MBP, so that must be the issue.

At least on my MBP screen, an HDR video on, say, ewetube's home screen stands out like a sore thumb, and your video above has that same extreme brightness/darkness; hmmm.

You've got me curious. I think I'll stop by my office tomorrow and see if my Mac/Safari do the same thing you're seeing.

I thought some of you may enjoy this: some sim racing action in POV. This is a 5 lap sprint shootout with race prepped 3 series BMWs on the streets of Long Beach, CA.

What you're seeing is my hands, my steering wheel and my display. What you're hearing is in-game audio from rFactor 2 and the voices from an app called Crew Chief.

You have the coolest toys. And that looks AMAZING. Getting all that set up (PC, game, audio, app)...I think you might actually need a real crew chief! LMAO

You're not alone. I got some new pedals for Christmas too. So now I'm wondering if Dirt would like to upgrade to a set of used Fanatec's ClubSport V3 pedals. *hint hint*

You're pedal travel is normal. With my old set and with my new set as well, I'd be surprised if there was an inch of travel. I'm using the hardest elastomer and have them calibrated to their maximum of 65Kg. And yes, my left quad muscles ached for a couple of days after they arrived.

If you're referring to Next Level Racing's F-GT Lite seat, that happened to me too under very heavy braking. I recall having a fix for it that involved inverting the clips/clamps that attach the pedal portion to the seat portion and moving them closer together. I also recall that rendered the ability to fold it properly impossible.
You didn't tag me so I didn't see this...
