Is anyone here familiar with the 80s band “Southern Pacific”?

I have some of their music and one of their songs came up on shuffle and it just got me to wondering how well known or not these guys were. They were a country band (pop-country/rock-country). Saw them as an opening act for the Oak Ridge Boys when I was a kid. Band members included one or two former Doobies and Stu Cook from CCR.

The song in this video gives me slight CCR vibes. Though their later songs I think tended to emphasize a glossier pop-country sound.

I remember the band's name, but didn't recognize the above song; will have to sample their videos after PBS here.

When I read the thread title first thing I thought of was this:

Never heard of the band though.
