Amazon has Kindle Unlimited

My book's on sale on Kindle - and you can keep it on your device as long as you want! :)

I had it for awhile, but most of the books I wanted to read were not included. These were not new releases either. This is kind of like Netflix streaming was when it first started out: a hodge-podge of relatively unknown content and a few older gems. It just wasn't worth it to me.

It looks like most of the books on KU are newer, less established, authors. This may not be a bad thing; I've been getting into more of this kind of thing lately, but have yet to take the plunge for it.

I had it for maybe six months and I did read some good books, but when I had to look at all the financial vampires sucking on my bank account, it was a really easy cut to make. I just didn't use it enough to justify the ongoing cost. If they had more of the books I wanted to read, the decision might have been different.
