So, I have this inwall sub

and its literature says it is only to be used with a klipsch RSA-500 amplifier

But I already have a berhinger a500, which on paper, outperforms the RSA-500...
We are moving offices and I want to have a high quality stereo pair in my office. I am seriously considering building these myself. Mainly because I like projects and all my stuff is done at the house so now I need something else to do.
Any thoughts, input, advice about kits or building from...
So I put all of the gear for my down stairs system in my downstairs coat closet on the top two shelves. When building the house this summer I had the foresight to put in a combo light/bathroom ceiling exhaust fan. This works well but it means that I have to constantly switch it on and off. So...
After some discussions, we have decided to abandone the projector thing and go with a 65" flat screen. BEcause this is THE weekend to buy I found what I believe to be a solid tv. However, I still have the opportunity to change.
Here is what is currently ordered from amazon, but not shipped...
So i have two pairs of inceiling speakers and looking at a good deal on some matching inwalls (1 pair). I've always wondered if I had my four in ceiling surrounds, what would happen if I also added a pair of sides speakers at ear height. Would it be more enveloping? Would it sound weir or...
I know this is a loaded question but I am setting out to put together a DIY screen a la Yesfan.
The question of the day is how big is too big. What is just right? I expect to sit 10-12 feet from the screen. ONe row of seating (couch)
thoughts?
I am in the hunt for an IB sub amp. I have seen several that are rated in stereo for both 4 ohms and 8ohms. But when bridged they are only rated at 8 ohms.
Why?
So I got my 360 in today and I realized I have an external usb hard drive. Can I hook that up to the xbox for additional storage? I have stuff on there I don't want to erase, infact it has a lot of my music on it. So I would want to hook it up anyway for access to that music. But would it...
So, I picked up the Klipsch KW 5802. Probably be at least next week before I get it installed (if I install it and not just flip it for a profit).
Anyway, that got me thinking. I have a PSB Subsonic 7 that I like very much, exept for its looks. I am currently mulling over the idea of...
Well, after carefull consideration the wife and I decided that the downstairs tv area is not for serious tv watching. Basially if you are watching something downstairs, everyone hears it. Unless all the doors are closed. so we are moving our tv couch upstairs to the bonus room and installing...
I bought a refurb Denon 2310ci from accessories for less. I have an LG BD550 and also have a matching 550 series lg plasma.
Anyway, my BD Player will not display properly or at all through the Denon unless it is set to 24 fps. Any ideas?
So we are in our new home (but it isn't ours yet so no threads on that until we close).
BUT, we did move in (long story). And in setting up the downstairs living room it has come to my attention that the best place for the sub is behind the couch. Has anyone ever tried or is willing to help...
and I am now ready to get something with HDMI. You know me, I love a good deal. But it has to peform well too. I don't need 3d and I have foudn over the years, I don't need my AVR to do alot of tricks. With that in mind can anyone give me a good reason why I should not buy this receiver...
