    Wardsweb Systems Update

The projector isn't very apparent in the picture above. I use a motorized linear actuator to drop the projector down two feet from the ceiling, when watching a movie, so the projection clears the 72" ceiling fan. The projector goes up to the ceiling, when not in use.

    Wardsweb Systems Update

Here is what the system looks like when watching a movie on the drop down screen. This really shows the point of the gear being a tool and not the focus. You watch a movie. You listen to music. If you watch the gear, you're doing it wrong.

Did you recognize the voice, laugh and mannerisms of the red Devaronian named Berg. The Kurgan straight out of Highlander.

    Old and Out of Touch

This is not a best of list for anyone I know. None of the classics from the last 40 years, no jazz, no rock, no classical. At best, maybe a millennial list of pop.

I didn't go but my wife took her oldest son and her grandson to Trans Siberian Orchestra tonight. I think we own all their CD's.

    Wardsweb Systems Update

Thank you. I have said before the only person who has to like your stereo is you. That being said, it is nice when others find the beauty in my system. Audio hobby --> passion --> obsession --> lunacy, still it does keep me off the streets and mostly out of trouble. Happy Holidays to all !!

    Wardsweb Systems Update

Messing around today and changed up the main system. Went clean and simple, moved it to a different wall, went with a 6H30 class A linestage and decided to only have vinyl and digital sources. The wall behind the system really helps with dynamics. The glass and curtains in the previous setup...

MUSIC STREAMING can you recommend a solution?

Plex is a great option for the TV to play your music. I use a Auralic Altair, with a 3TB drive, in my main system to play my music. It also streams, but I don't use that option. The iPad control interface is really good.

    New Guy getting Rocketman speakers.

Welcome. Remember the only person who has to like your system is you. There will always be someone with more and someone with less; money, education, common sense, etc. Serenity comes not from what you have but knowing what you can live without. While the destination may be audio nirvana, don't...
