I could fit a 120" set in my room, but I'd have to get another Salamander (and it took me almost 10 years or more to break down and get one). Besides, with what it would probably cost, I'd probably opt to pay off my Volkswagen!

See that's the problem I'm having now with my set. If you sit dead on, the viewing is spectacular. Sit a little to the side and it's not so great. I did notice on the 4K sets that it really doesn't matter what the viewing angle is (but this was in a showroom). I'll have to go back and look at...

I haven't kept up with curved vs. flat screen debate. What's the story? They do have a 78" flat screen. Both looked amazing so either one would be welcomed in my home.

Made the mistake yesterday of going to look at the Samsung 78 4K tv. Wasn't expecting to be wowed . . . but I was. This could get costly. BTW, the curved one will fit on the Salamander. Just sayin'.

The Klipsch I have are really big and they don't fit into the house layout that well. I thought about in-ceiling speakers, but the ceilings are up to 22 ft in some...

Anyone know anything about these? Haven't heard them yet so now sure how they sound and if it's even something worth investigating. Need something smaller for my setup. Those Klipsch are just too big. Debating on going with something like this or just going with 4 of the 600 series bookshelves...

I do have to praise Salamander for their customer service. Since the door hinges were missing it put the construction on hold. I called them and they said they would send them out to me. I was expecting a week or two before getting them. Just a few minutes ago FedEx rang the bell and there were...

And of course, the friggin' door hinges are nowhere to be found in the box. Salamander sending them out today.

I fully understand reality shows costs less than regular shows, but jeez, is this what's to come? A lot of this reality stuff is just pure crap and can't figure out why anyone with an active brain cell left in their head would consider watching it.

Well I managed to get the box moved from the hallway into the sunroom and unpacked. That's where I ended it last night. Today's another day. You'd think for the cost, it would come already put together (or someone comes 'round to do it for you). Will post pics as I get it sorted.
