This is concerning my new RX-V1065 (with HD tuner).
When I sent up auto scan to preset memory, I only find 9 FM, 1 HD, and zero AM stations. This is both with the cheesy FM strand & AM loop antennas provided or my rabbit ears meant to catch FM.
Ok, call it signal strength. My real question is...
4 hours later and the date is now 3/21. ArrrgggHH :handgestures-thumbdown:
Ordered them anyway through Musicians Friend. The manufacturer says they suck up all the Rosewoods and I'll get the best price there. I guess I'll keep using my Sansui Speaker stands until these show up - on the boat...
Having a little trouble with the speaker stands. Sanus has them back ordered out till mid May.
I'm going to switch to these stands. They hold up to 65 lbs (the 20's are 25 lbs), 36" high, sand-fillable steel core, and they come in Rosewood to match the speaks. :banana-dance:
Let's hope they...
Hi heeman:
The version fives list for $650 each. My dealer knocked off $100 each and was kind enough to break up a pair for a five speaker system.
$2750 for all five.
The Dealer is Audio Concepts. They are located in Boston and North Attleboro, MA. I went to the NA location. They were very...
Yamaha RX-V1065BL Receiver
This was a tough choice. I wanted the latest RX-V667 but no phono input and no HD radio. The 105 WPC RX-V1065 has everything I want, but it does not support 3D HDMI (1.4). Plus it was $109 less.
Pioneer DV-610AV-K Universal Player - to replace the one that died...
So, I'm gearing up for more listening and my Pioneer Universal SACD/DVD-A player shit the bed last night.
AAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH! :angry-cussingblack: :angry-cussingblack: :angry-cussingblack:
Watched the NBA all-star game instead.
That's good advice on the foot inserts. I will buy a Mopad to sit the center speaker on the RPTV but at $40 a pair, I don't want to buy five sets.
btw:
I moved the speaks upstairs to run them 2.1 with the SVS. If there was any doubt that the 20's are too small it has been removed.
These...
YF
They are version 5's. They do need a sub so, now the hard part. Do I take my SVS 25-31 PC+ out of my boom, boom room and rely on the Sansui's alone or buy another sub?
Soundy:
Cheezie is does the job. no?
that's still up in the air...
I'm thinking of this ...

I need analog video and audio and HDMI for the BlueRay puchase.
That's right they are mine. In Rosenut, no less.
I just set up the first pair and BB King is helping me break them in. :banana-rock:
There are three more on order along with two pairs of stands.
Bob Be Rockin Now!!!! :banana-dance: :banana-dance: :banana-dance:
Wow!
Thanks for that link Pauly.
One of the cleanest streaming audio downloads I've come across. :banana-rock:
And it's got the blues harmonica wailing.
That seems to be a lost art these days.
