    Monolith HTP-1 16 channel HT pre/pro

Looks like Monoprice is going into processing as well. I was hoping they might have something more reasonably priced since I don't need 16 channels. For $4k that is out of my league.

"Man, you must have a really great amp to drive those babies."

I've said this before but I wish I had the sense and knowledge then that I do now. I could've saved a good deal of money including the BS on interconnects and speaker wire along with other accessories. I don't regret some purchases

What Movie(s) Did You Watch Today?

I liked Deadpool 2 but less than the first. Felt the humor was forced a bit.

"Man, you must have a really great amp to drive those babies."

Let me ask. The bookshelf speakers I'm going to get are 87db sensitivity. Recommended amp is 50 -150 watts. As we discussed I like the monolith 7x200 watt amp because it is a 7 channel amp and the right price. But is 200 w contingent on the volume you select? Should I be concerned about...

My new game: Guess how many dB louder the sub(s) is/are to the mains!!!

I rarely do 2 channel but I know I add somewhere between +3 to +6 db on the sub after running YPAO on my Yamaha. But not sure if that translates the same with 2 channel.

What Movie(s) Did You Watch Today?

How much would it cost to ship ? Would be glad to let you borrow it. It was $20 for UHD Blu Ray and digital. I won't watch it for a bit.

What Movie(s) Did You Watch Today?

I think I recall that. Have you seen this UHD version? It is really darn nice. That said I hadn't seen it in years, to the point I forgot most of the detail so it was almost like watching it new

What Movie(s) Did You Watch Today?

Bought Blade Runner yesterday and watched it all (shocking I know @Towen7 ). The video quality is pretty incredible especially considering it is from 1982. Sound is pretty impressive as well.

I just need straps. Have the wall mounts already

    Securing speakers to wall mounts

Okay that could work. Silly question where do you get those straps? Funny thing is I kind of remember that pic
  20. bmwuk

    Securing speakers to wall mounts

@Flint what is an example of a strap to use? I don't want to damage the speakers. If the back screw sits over top the holding plate then I can just drill a hole in the holding plate. But the movement of the drivers won't jar it loose?
