Yesterday I installed my cloud, finally........

The room measured great prior to the installation, however these smoothed out the 100 - 200 Hz response significantly.

I finally BOUGHT, yes paid money for these Monster bass traps. I didn't want to DIY these. GIk predicted this frequency response improvement.

I measured some sweeps until I saw some compression.

Note: These measurements are both FR and FL Speakers (C1's and Woofers) NO SUBS!! 1/6th Smoothing

I just added (2) PSA S18NEO Subs. I use my subs for LFE only. I was able to get the 10 year old PSA XS-30'S to blend nicely with the new sealed 18's.

I will be building my MTM Center Speaker as soon as the heat breaks down here. The Purifi Drives are on backorder.

Very impressive curve! What was the difference before you added that massive diffusor/absorber. Did it make the room "livelier" or more balanced with the amount of absorption you have?

And are the subs in the front and behind the rear seating?

I would say "balanced", not livelier.

The new 18" subs are in the front corners.

The XS-30'S are behind the seats, which has been their location always in this HT.

During Flints visit, he commented that the room is well balanced and not too dead. This is different than the WI HT, which was on the dead side.

To get the 4 subs to blend cohesively I needed to add delay and invert the polarity on the XS-30'S. Then added EQ.
